How to reset EOS camera to factory defaults?

Issue:
If you are experiencing some unexpected behavior from camera during remote control you can try to reset it to factory defaults. In some cases it help fix issues with camera settings, remote shooting and captured images.

Cause:
Prior to reset camera to defaults disconnect camera from USB, turn camera ON, and check that camera have sufficient charge. On camera body press <MENU> button.

Detach a lens from the camera body:

1) Under the Settings tab, select [Clear settings], then press <SET>.

2) Select [Clear all camera settings], then press <SET>.

3) Select [OK], then press <SET>. Wait for the camera to complete an internal reset procedure.

[Clear all camera settings] will reset the camera to the default settings. Check if you still experiencing the issue.
