Chapter 7. Processing

Top  Previous  Next

In the previous chapters, we have described all functions and settings for image processing. Now, it is time to run the process and take a look at how it progresses.

There are three types of image processing in the application: Capture to TWAIN, Capture to File and Capture to Clipboard. In all three cases, the capturing process is identical and it is only saving the processed image that differs. Capture to TWAIN sends the processed image to the application or to a device through the TWAIN driver. The results transfer through the TWAIN driver will be described below with the XnView image viewer taken as an example. Capture to File saves an image to the specified folder on the drive. Capture to Clipboard saves an image to the clipboard. In this case, it is convenient to paste the image into a document or another application without interim saving.
