inPhoto ID PS is an application for identification photo preparation which also includes camera control functions of the Canon PowerShot/IXUS family. inPhoto ID PS allows you to manage and to automate the whole cycle of ID photo preparation. The program does the following: remote camera control, quickly and accurately detects a face on image, build and crop frame in accordance with user`s settings, save image in a folder or transfer to applications supporting the TWAIN protocol (Adobe Photoshop, Incardex, Asure ID, CardFive, ID Works, EPISuite и др.). inPhoto ID PS also has the ability to connect external tools and automatically execute additional actions needed on the processed identification image. For example, you can send the prepared ID photos by e-mail automatically.

Main features:

Camera control, image capturing and identification photo preparation are the main functions of inPhoto ID PS.

Remote Camera Control allows controlling the shooting process and adjusting camera settings from a PC. inPhoto ID PS features all key settings the user can set up on the camera itself in the automatic or program mode, i.e.: control of the optical zoom, white balance, flash mode and intensity, red-eye correction, image size and quality. Shooting control is also possible using voice commands.

"Live" Preview allows viewing the live image on PC screen in real time using current camera and processing settings. All changes of camera settings, the frame building settings and image resolution settings are displayed in the preview immediately.

Face detection and Crop settings allow to find the face area on image and to crop on this basis the future ID photo in accordance with user`s settings. The software forms the future shot based on such image settings as: photo size, aspect proportions, frame type, etc.

Image Correction allows adjusting image brightness, contrast, gamma, and sharpness to obtain the greatest result.

TWAIN image capture allows transfer of prepared identification (ID) photos via TWAIN protocol directly to the target applications. The TWAIN protocol is supported by such apps as: Adobe Photoshop, Incardex, Asure ID, CardFive, ID Works, EPISuite etc.

Save to File allows you to save acquired images to file and set desired file name and folder manually or automatically. The file name consist of a prefix entered by the user, the shooting date and image number. The folder may include the current date that allow to create an easy-to-use archive of electronic images located on the disk.

External tools connection allows to connect an external app to inPhoto ID PS to automatically execute required additional actions with the processed images without interim saving or any other actions by the user. Such feature is used to automatize identification photo preparation as much as possible.
