To add Blat to the list of external applications, enter the File menu > Options > External tools tab. The tab contains parameters for connecting external applications.
More details on the parameters may be found in this chapter.
To add a new tool, press the Add button. After that, the [New External Tool] row will appear in the External tools (Actions) field and the form fields will be available for filling.
Fill out the Title and Command boxes. Write the utility title in the Title box. Please note that in this box you can enter any name for indicating the application. In Command, let’s indicate the path to the bat file created at the beginning of the example.
After filling in the Title and Command boxes, Blat will appear in the External tools list.
To complete establishing connection, press Add, then close dialogue window with OK button.
