Automatic Mode

Running Blat in the automatic mode allows sending images by email immediately after processing without any interim actions by the user.

Let's demonstrate the operation of Blat.

In inPhoto ID Webcam open the File menu > Options > External tools tab, then select Blat in the External tools (Actions) list and set the Execute after processing setting for it.

The [post-processing] option will appear in the tool list next to the Blat title. It informs you that the automatic running after processing for the tool is enabled.

Execute after processing setting can be set only for one tool at a time. If you assign Execute after processing first for one tool and then for another one, then at the moment of setting the parameter for the second tool, it will be automatically disabled for the first one.

Then, run the processing process in any way, for example, through Capture to File.

Further application behaviour depends on the processing process settings. It should be reminded that they are located in the File menu > Options > Processing tab.

Thus, if the Show processing window setting is set to Always, the ID Image Processing dialogue will be always called up for photo being processed.

Upon the Show if necessary value set, the dialogue will be called up only for photos whose processing requires a user's participation.

If the Never value is chosen, the dialogue will not be called up.

More details on the processing setting may be found in the General Settings section.

During execution of the batch file, inPhoto ID Webcam will display a completion waiting window. The waiting window will close automatically after the external tool has completed interacting with inPhoto ID Webcam.

After the waiting window has closed, you have to check the email box.

As you can see in the picture below, an email with the processed image have been delivered to the email address indicated. Address of the sender, the subject and the content of the e-mail match the ones specified in the bat file.
