The status bar is meant for displaying the information needed in the course of work. This area is divided into five sections.

In the first section, the name of the currently connected camera is displayed from left to right.

In the second section, you can see the size of the initial image received by the application from the camera. Most cameras pass an image with the size of 320х240 pixels.

In the third section, you can see the size of the image in pixels in the preview pane. If you change the application window size, the one of the current image will be changed as well.

In the fourth section, you'll find the scale indicating the ratio of the image size in the preview to the size of the image received from the camera.

In the fifth section, the battery charge level is displayed. Letter B is an abbreviation for the English word Battery. For indicating the battery charge level, the following symbols are used: DC, L4, L3, L2, L1. DC means the camera is connected to the power supply unit. DC can be displayed as well for some time, if the new fully charged battery is installed in the camera. L4 is displayed when the battery charge exceeds 50%, L3 means the battery charge is below 50% but has not yet reached 25%, L2 - the battery charge is below 25%, L1 - the battery is almost completely discharged. It is next to impossible to see the L1 symbol on the status bar, because as soon as the battery charge has dropped to this level, the camera stops supporting USB connection in order to save the battery power and thus the application stops "seeing" the camera. clip0516

Please note that if you have switched the camera on, but inPhoto Capture PS cannot find it, a low charge of the camera battery can be one of the reasons for this.
